Copperleaf in the northwest corner of Portage makes travel easy among Kalamazoo County’s many diverse offerings – ranging from Western Michigan University to Al Sabo nature preserve. Close to Kalamazoo Valley Community College, shopping malls and districts and entertainment and dining. Meijer and Costco are and it’s an easy trip down Texas Drive to such restaurants as Bold and Fletchers. Just off of 12th Street, Copperleaf is also a straight shot down Milham Avenue from Portage Northern High School and the Crossroads Mall. Angling Road Elementary, Portage Northern High School were rated 9 out of 10 by education.com. Students also have the opportunity to take part in Education for Employment for career and technical education.
