In 2013, U.S. News & World Report recognized Grand Blanc schools as an outstanding school system and ranked Grand Blanc High School among the top 30 schools in the state. Grand Blanc High School is in a partnership with University of Michigan-Flint to provide free online tutoring, the Advanced Placement (AP) program, and high school dual enrollment so that advanced students can receive college credit before graduation. A strong Career and Technical Education (CTE) program allows students to take courses in Automotive Technology, Child Psychology, Pre-Engineering, Industrial Arts and Technology, and Robotics that expose students to valuable vocational training. Home to the Bobcats, Grand Blanc is also known for its excellent athletics program. Holy Family Elementary, the local private Christian school, offers PK and K – 8 educations.
