Portage, MI – July 2nd, 2025  – Allen Edwin Homes is proud to announce a new initiative to support teachers as they prepare for the 2025–2026 school year. Throughout the month of August, the homebuilder and local lenders will be donating $200 every weekday to educators to help them clear their Amazon wish lists and stock their classrooms with the supplies they need.

Starting August 1 and running through August 31, one teacher will be selected every weekday to receive $200 toward their Amazon wish list, with the goal of easing the financial burden many educators face when purchasing classroom materials out of pocket.

“We know that teachers go above and beyond for their students, often using their own money to create a welcoming and effective learning environment,” said Rachel Sabo, Director of Marketing at Allen Edwin Homes. “This giveaway is our way of saying thank you and giving back to the educators who do so much for our communities.”

How to Enter:
Teachers can enter the giveaway by submitting their Amazon wish list and completing a brief entry form by clicking here. Winners will be contacted directly and spotlighted on Allen Edwin Homes’ social media channels throughout the month.

This initiative is part of Allen Edwin Homes’ continued commitment to community support, education, and giving back to those who make a difference every day. Thank you to our Preferred Lender partners who have made this possible: Dale Hamill - Lake Michigan Credit Union and Tom Stearns - Cross Country Mortgage.
