Help Clear 300 Teacher Wish Lists Before School Starts

Clear the Lists 2026

Can Our Communities Clear 300 Teacher's Wish Lists Before School Starts?

Exactly 300 educators have shared the classroom supplies they still need. With support from our Preferred Lender sponsors, Allen Edwin Homes has already purchased more than 400 items, but clearing every Wish List will take the support of an entire community.

300 Educators 300 Classroom Wish Lists 400+ Items Already Purchased One Community Goal

More Than a Giveaway, This Is a Community Challenge

The goal of Clear the List is simple: help educators begin the 2026-2027 school year with more of the classroom supplies they need and less pressure to purchase those items with their own money.

Classroom Wish Lists include everyday supplies such as notebooks, pencils, crayons, tissues, books, headphones, cleaning products, flexible seating, sensory tools, educational games, and other resources used throughout the school year.

One purchase may seem small, but hundreds of individual purchases can make a meaningful difference in classrooms.

Every Participating Educator Will Receive Support

Throughout August, Allen Edwin Homes and our Preferred Lender sponsors will select one educator every day and purchase up to $150 in classroom supplies directly from that educator's Amazon Wish List.

We also wanted every educator who participated to receive something. We will be purchasing at least one item from the Wish List of every educator who was not selected for a daily $150 purchase.

With help from our Preferred Lender sponsors, these purchases already total more than 400 classroom items across the 300 participating Wish Lists.

01

Daily educator support

One featured educator every day receives up to $150 in supplies purchased directly from an Amazon Wish List.

02

Something for every educator

At least one item was purchased for each participating educator who was not selected for a daily $150 purchase.

03

A community-wide effort

Individuals, businesses, Realtors, lenders, and community organizations can purchase remaining items or sponsor an educator.

Thank You to Our Preferred Lender Sponsors

The initial purchase of more than 400 classroom items was made possible with support from our Preferred Lender sponsors. Their participation helped ensure that every educator who submitted a Wish List received something before the campaign opened to the broader community.

We are grateful to the following Preferred Lender sponsors for helping support educators and classrooms across the country:

  • Fifth Third Bank
  • Independent Bank
  • Great Lakes Mortgage
  • Northpointe Bank
  • CrossCountry Mortgage
  • Huntington Bank
  • Lake Michigan Credit Union
  • Consumers Credit Union
  • Northern Mortgage
  • GVC Mortgage
  • My City Loans

Their support gave this campaign a strong start. Now, we are inviting individuals, businesses, Realtors, community organizations, and neighbors to help continue that momentum and clear as many of the 300 Wish Lists as possible.

Why This Matters

Teachers do far more than teach. Many also purchase classroom supplies with their own money, provide snacks for students, and replace worn-out books, headphones, art supplies, and learning tools throughout the school year.

Those costs add up quickly. Every item purchased through this campaign helps reduce that financial burden and gives educators more time and resources to focus on their students.

A pack of markers, a set of headphones, or a new classroom book may seem like a small contribution, but each purchase helps create a classroom that is better prepared for the year ahead.

See Why Clearing Classroom Wish Lists Matters

Follow the Progress Throughout August

The campaign will continue throughout August with daily educator spotlights, classroom stories, participating business recognition, and updates as Wish Lists receive support.

Each purchase moves a classroom closer to being ready. It gives an educator one less item to purchase personally and provides students with another resource they can use during the school year.

300 Educators. 300 Wish Lists. One Community Goal.

Our Preferred Lender sponsors helped us begin by purchasing more than 400 classroom items. Clearing the remaining Wish Lists will take individuals, businesses, school communities, trade partners, Realtors, lenders, and neighbors choosing to help.
